My name is Paul.
When I was a teen way back when I bought a Tamiya Tiger 1 - this was in the 70s and as far as I can recall it was 1:24 scale with full internal details and twin motors with a tethered control unit. It was great to build.
So now in my continued childhood (growing up is not for me) I have bought the following:
First purchase was a Heng Long Tiger 1 with crystal RC in all plastic. For less than £60 it is a decent piece of kit.
Second purchase was a Taigen Tiger 1 early production in mostly metal which is excellent.
Third purchase is a late production T1 with zimmerit in metal also excellent.
My last acquisition is a Porsche turret Tiger 2 in mostly metal, again superb.
All are bb firing with sound smoke etc .
My mother was born in a German enclave in the Ukraine and was a refugee when the Germans retreated in late 1943. She ended up in Austriia and probably saw many Panzers and Russian tanks during her journey.
