Hi All,
Though I'd put some pics on of my firefly Vc conversion so far. Still some to do but almost there. It goes together really will and is well worth the money. Lots of rubbing down and sanding but that's all part of the fun of building it. And Dean you have produced an outstanding kit top marks . Oh forgot to mention l lengthen the lower hull by 20mm and plated the inside with plas card.Brian...

What hull did you use as a starting point? And if you cut it up I'll be damned if I can see where, outstanding job!

Hi,
Used a standard HL hull removed all the battery box. The cuts to the chassis were behind the first and second wheel mounts in line with the track support rollers so the cuts are hidden each cut has a 10mm gap. So with all the plas card inside plus a full length sheet on the bottom it puts all the stregth back in the chassis. Brian...

Hi All,
Many thanks for the positive remarks

much appreciated. Bit more done today built the blanket box for the radio box and fitted the turret armor. Also used some. Mr surfacer on the extra armor. So getting near to paint!!. Now I have a question is there anyone who knows the correct colour for British armor if so what's the number. Hope someone can help me out with this. I think when they converted the M4's to firefly's they repainted them with our own colour over the OD, Brian...

I was getting ready to ask this myself. Been using OD on the US stuff, what about the Brits? British racing Green might be a bit out of place (though I do like BRG).
