Who makes the most realistic tank figures mainly commander as the stock HENGLONG ones are a little odd, cheers Andy

I got these Verlindens, but they were painted by someone else.

Second this, however it really comes down to painting, you can have a mediocre figure but well painted it looks fantastic.

I cant paint figures if my life depended on it ,but I know someone that's amazing with faces.

You might like to have a look at the video tutorials from Last Cavalry TV, by Dave Youngquist. I think he's very good. There are quite a few on different subjects, but this is the first of 4 relating to painting 1/16 scale figures.

Thanks rich a good helpful video, I could have a practise on the stock H/L german commanders as I have a tub full .

It is a skill that like anything just takes practice to be good at. But subtle is best...Look at any actual face and nothing (without make up) is dramatic..lip color..cheeks..eye brows.

you can make a lot from those hl torsos by buying verlinden heads and hands ! cut them up ! as tom said, the faces aint great on thye hl ones so if youre gonna practice get some verlinden heads.
