Please assure me that this will all be gone by Sunday, I really don't want to go the expense of hiring a helicopter to get to Templecombe!
When does Glastonbury start emptying out...Sunday evening or Monday morning? :/

It will be good to see you, we are a friendly bunch of guys, don't take anything too seriously, have a chat and a laugh and kneel at Silversurfer's feet when he brings along his latest scenic creation. :D

Of course, if we get too many we may end up in the news... lol

Well I checked the Glastonbury website and it seems that it starts emptying out at around 1am on Monday morning. This means that the roads will be clear to and from Templecombe when go down and leave during Sunday. The usual routes should be perfectly ok.

I made another piece of scenery, I'll bring it along. A piece of undulating track, easy to do and if it proves durable I can make them in about 2 hours?

I also have a whizzo idea to make a water base for under the bridge, I am pretty confident that it will do the job very nicely. I would have done it but I only have the ramps, not the road, so I don't know how wide the water needs to be.

I am just glad that I packed the car this morning to test fit everything, it has been a monsoon ever since! :S

See you all tomorrow!

Rob

Well that was a good day, no traffic either way, only an hour wafting through the countryside with only the usual crawlers to contend with. Quite amazing that we could hear Glastonbury from 15 miles away, if that was what we were hearing?? Getting the tanks and scenery into the cars just before the rain was more good luck than judgement. :D

Will post pics and a video tomorrow when I have more time.
