My Sherman ?

Hi all
Whilst waiting for some outline plans to arrive for a A34 comet and also a Churchill Tank, I decided to build a Sherman using parts I had in the garage.
The lower is an old Tamiya that I have fitted one of my spare Twin clutch drive units into, The drive motors are controlled by a 10 amp ESC which is driven in parallel (using a "Y" lead) with a speed linked Truck sound unit from E-bay (£15.00 incl P&P) and as our club members will tell you it has a really deep rumble sound that you get from a tank unit and is fully throttle linked. The Upper hull is an old Heng Long from somewhere? and then using some printed parts from a top I think I got from Cannedheat a while ago. ie. the engine deck and the drivers hatches. The turret is from God's know where but with a bit a TLC and some scratch building I think she looks Okay. The elevation is servo controlled and the training is using a standard HL traversing motor but being driven by a 3amp ESC so I have really good control of the movement. The Barrel is scratch built and at this moment is not recoiling at the moment. but having just designed and made a recoil unit for my chally 2 that has fast recoil but slow return to battery using a simple cam and a geared motor. I might build and refit it a second one into my Sherman. .
Anyway hope you enjoy her as much as I do
