Airbrush Painting
This will be my first attempt at airbrush painting but when I left school over 30 years ago I was a paint sprayer for Blairs foundry who produced track links for the MOD. Centurion and challenger tanks especially. I would presume its exactly the same but on a much smaller scale. Mixing the spray paint with thinners and rinsing everything clean before starting another colour.

Cleanliness is your friend,
Wipe over every part that you intend painting with Acrylic Thinners to get rid of grease,
And spray in a warm well lit dust free room without drafts.
Lots of light coats and don't rush it,
DON'T FORGET TO WEAR A FACEMASK.
Shaun.

Re: Airbrush Painting
I also pre heat the tank with a hair dryer if necessary. Usually this is when I have to paint at night for lack of other time availability .
Post heating on occasion as well.
Pressure setting is also very important, get that wrong and you can have way to much paint go on

Re: Airbrush Painting
If I'm doing a two or three color camo scheme I'll load the same number of jars with paints. Switching from one color to the next is easy that way. To clear the previous color from the air brush I just shoot onto a piece of cardboard I have near by. Never a problem. When finished, I'll run a full jar of thinner through the air brush.
