Morning all,

I know a lot of you guys are waiting for the sherman firefly resin kits so I thought I would share a couple of pictures of my tamiya converted firefly , it's not 100% finished yet as I need to do some light weathering and finish the tracks. I would appreciate any feedback on my efforts and would be grateful to know if I need to make any changes to make it better, I'm not looking to chop it up at this stage but more along the lines of minor mods,

Cheers, Lee.

Well and truely nice mate.

In my very humble opinion, if you were to allow any change, I would suggest removing the helmet/gas mask combo ...... For me it's just not, um, British enough !!

A very well done example of a hell of a tank

Thanks for taking the time to look in Del and magman, your comments really give the old mojo a boost Image

I have a question though guy's, on my 2nd picture of the front view of the tank you can see that mine doesn't have the bolted transmission housing , I could add these if need be but I was wondering if all firefly's had these before I go adding them if there's no need , the pic below is what I'm trying to explain, to add or not that is the question Image

Cheers, Lee

Thanks magman  so I can get away with it as is then, I know it may not be 100 % accurate but I'd still like it to look a passable example,

Cheers, Lee.

All a4's had the 3-piece tranny but the other versions used either type..

Thanks Frank, is there anything to your expert eye that you see needs adding or removing ( within reason ? :haha: ) the figures I had from you look right at home on there, I'm particularly happy with the driver  ,

Lee.

Thank you Frank I appreciate that, I'm sure I'll be picking your brains again when I get the bits from Dave for my 75mm, again I would just like to make that one a good representation too,

Cheers, Lee.
