This will be a long one, researching only at this stage. Plenty wrong with the base model so any advice welcomed.

Cheers Mr Castor, things are ticking over without being breathtaking !!

I am happy to have a Jagdtiger in any form regardless of the amount of corrections to be made.
Lower front hull has a bulge in it, sides are wrong angle, suspension will need to be stretched and the hull to match, so plenty to keep me off the street !

I was certain they were extinct.
Not sure if I really should ruin it's originality by making it right !

But, no Torro coming here any time soon, so this will do nice !

Good morning, Herman!
A rare find indeed, sir. These things are scarce enough on the ground that if you decided to part it out to the right group of enthusiasts, you could conceivably make enough dough to buy a new Torro version. Knowing that you are not the sort to flinch away from a challenge, there are a couple of detailed builds out there on how to do this up proper. You can give any Torro version a run for its money then. ;o) Following along.
regards,
Painless

How about just getting a Torro KT lower hull and leaving the upper alone? I realize it has mistakes but it's also rare. I think if it were mine that's what I would do, maybe just add some detail bits but I doubt I'd cut it up.

The R/C tank place in Oklahoma has several of these custom built and painted if anyone is looking for 1.

Herman is that a working BARREL HOLDER ?
I ask because a certain North American Moderator :haha: :haha: Has just shown his Jagdtiger and he has laboured hard and produced a lovely example of a working Barrel Brace.
Shaun.

Thanks Mr B, that really sets the bar.
I know Mr Gra has very recently passed, so having this as a reference is very humbling.
Thank you so much for posting this link.

I certainly hope to get mine half as good
