That is a very nice report. Thanks. Anyone has experience with the Shumo gun barrel and mantlrt? It is meant for Tamita, but should also go well into the heng long. Especially with the traverse mod, the barrel can be attached as needed.

I figured out what is wrong with the mantlet. It resembles the have head of a triceratops with its neckshield, out of the box. But it should be like a sows head instead. Cutting short the shield is not enough. You have to lift the gun hole by cutting even more from the top and add the same amount to the bottom corner. Say cut not 8, but 10mm from the top and reshape the corner, then add 2-3mm more meat to the lower part of the mantlet, by that virtually lifting the gun hole. Also, the mantlet needs to be about 3mm longer in the font, the flat part where gun sticks out needs to be doubled in thickness and the beveled ring needs to be thinner. By that, a lot of thickness is added to the mantlet, what helps getting the curvature right. I will try that on mine during the next days.
