New Tank Simulation in progress

Following the bankruptcy of the company responsible for T34 v Tiger (and even though the game is still perfectly useable), there is a team of developers working on a new Tank Simulation with far greater capability.

This link shows you some of the screenshots and news updates of how things are progressing.

I am not too sure at this stage, but the new game may well be free, and from what I have read, it is going to be very good indeed.

Looks good. It also looks like it will be a mod for anouther game rather than a whole new game in-itself. From the engine they are talking about I think Crysis is what they will be using?

Yes, it's the Crysis engine. Totally new game. There are some very clever people working on the project and from what I have seen and read, they are aiming to build a very realistic tank warfare simulator. I have seen the desert landscapes etc. They will also make the tank dynamics totally accurate, you wouldn't believe what perfectionists they are, even building in deflection angles for sloped armour, reload times etc. I hope they achieve what they have set out to do.

There are now 2 main places to play T34 v Tiger online.

1. Gameranger - The standard out of the box version.
2. Teamspeak - Only with the free MMP5 upgrade...which has loads of improvements. see PanzerSim.
