HL Tiger/Metal track Question

Hello Guys,

I'm looking to fit a set of metal tracks to a HL Tiger (Late build). Decided to go the metal track route, because I was forever snapping the plastic links when running on grass. Never used/bought metal tracks before, so I'm looking for feed back and recommendations as to whats available, good/bad. The suspensions already upgraded as well as sprockets, idlers and track tensioners so that's not an issue.

I'm looking for Quality/ Value for money, easy pin removal, available spares, Links/pins.

Looked at impact tracks, nice but expensive and also tracks from http://www.rctank.de/product_info.php?c ... ucts_id=91

Made in Germany from high pressure Zinc ?

I would be grateful for any recommendations.

Cheers.

STEINER

The HL sets aren't late model tracks - they lack the ice cleats

Steiner, I got the late metal tracks from Impact off of Welsh Dragon. They are amazingly detailed, they even have a cast surface structure. The only problem i've found with them is the track pins. They are a pain to get in and out. I bent a few pins trying to get the tracks on, until I realised to file down the 'MLR' bit on the pin.

Cheers,
Rik
