So I was bored and though ' hey I wonder if my heavy ass 2A6 can pull that heavy ass tiger 1' and here are the results!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tz7Q2QM ... e=youtu.be

Leopard 2A6- 3-1 gearboxes, jp480 motors running from an IBU2 and full metal running gear
Tiger 1- 4-1 gearboxes, standard motors running from a heng long 2.4ghz RX18 and full metal running gear.

Am sure this may be useful to know for someone planning a recovery tank/ bergepanzer, just abit of fun for me and I way try it with one stuck in the mud as opposed to stuck in my kitchen!

Take them outside in the dirt and grass, hook the tow rope between the rear of both tanks, turn them both on and go full throttle and see who can drag who backwards while it just spins tracks.

My guess is the Tiger will pull the Leopard because the Tiger's tracks are made to dig into the dirt where as the Leopard has more or less smooth rubber tracks. I'm betting the Tiger drags that Leopard backwards kicking and screaming.

Tiger 1 engine was powerful enough to power the Tiger but was not able to tow without risking the engine. It wasnt powerful/reliable enough to tow other tanks. They were advised against it.

He's not trying it with real tanks, just his little R/C ones. I'm sure it's safe. ;)

I so wanted to be sarcastic then! Am kinda worried to make any jokes on here at the min as I have seen the way some people have been and reacted to stuff and i really don't want to offend anyone, you guys are all that. Guess people just take the written word out of context sometimes as there's no inflection, but I just want to say your all great and helped me loads! (yes am a suck up!) and I hope my odd little videos in the kitchen have amused you :-) jackalope if I get chance the weekend I will start this new 'sport' of tank pulling! And probably break something, but as my niece and nephew say " uncle Leigh fix!)
