I dont see it as a rant. I see it like a chat between some collegues, I dont think there any need for closing the thread.

I only just found this thread, the original post was deleted, and everyone was comparing the HL and Tamiya's. Hence why I posted my thoughts...I haven't a clue what the thread was supposed to be about as it isn't there any more?

I wonder if particular sprue sets would be available ?
Could be a good alternative for a conversion kit !

Hi all,
Looks very nice.Tamiya seam to have done an M51 job here again. They already have the Panzer IV base so it seams all we're getting is a new upper hull unit. Having said that it probably will sell pretty well!!.But how much the M51 was in the £700 bracket so I think this one will be much the same price!!. I certainly hope I'm wrong in this because I would like one but that all hinges on the price. To date I have all the TAMIYA tanks apart from the KV1&.2 And yes I do like the HL Tanks but I think they are slowly creeping up in price as they improve. Good thing or bad!!! will have to wait and see. Brian...

According to Axels, the release date is August 10th, and they are taking pre-orders. You need to save your pennies though. Price in Euros 776.95, which using today's exchange rates is 6p over £600 plus shipping.
