I managed to fit an FRS-8 speaker (non enclosed) and TARR in my StuG by cutting out the battery box..does the Sherman have the same space inside or a bit more? It looks like more room height wise in the back of the hull?

There is slightly more room as far as the distance between the smoker and hull top. If you get the older the 2.7 version of the Sherman the receiver board greatly limits any additional room gained by the higher hull in the area around the battery box.

If you gut everything just using the empty hull space and cut out the battery box..sounds like similar size foot print with a bit more room height wise in the back regardless of the versions? Thanks!
