My sincere regards on this ANZAC Day especially you Herman and you Kiaser but to all the Australian and New Zealand members of the Forum,
Some of us on this side of the world also remember the price your forebears paid for your and our families futures.
Shaun.

A belated but humble thank you Sir.
While the day is remembered here and in New Zealand as significant beginnings in our respective nationhoods, it is not without great respect and commiseration for the tens of thousands of Englishmen that fell in the same campaign.
Having gone to that place, and felt the link to generations past, seen the incredible monument to the 70 plus thousand Turkish soldiers that died rightfully defending their own land from foreign invaders and even a hundred years later-seen the exposed bone of an unidentified man, this day for evermore will be one of having to live up to an undisclosed expectation of what having a life really means to be gifted from those that had theirs cut short.

To those that serve and have served, in any nations forces, for reasons set down by respective governments right or wrong, I stand respectful as a free man, bound by law, and honor to lead a worthy life.
