I did promise I would post some pictures once this was complete. so here goes. Just as a starting point, this is a base HL, purchased for 40 quid on a certain auction site. Yes it worked, kind of, but was the base model. Since then it has had a fair bit of time and money spent on it.
I have tried to recreate Tiger 405, Winter 1943. This was the Command Tiger for LSAH, the unit Ace Wittmann eventually joined. I have done a fair bit of research, but as ever, would be delighted to be corrected. All criticism happily received.....
Some changes:
Turret correction - which resulted in an unplanned upgrade to IR. Don't ask!!
Beier Soundmodul (I have one on my other Tiger - the one that started all this obsession).
MG conversion (it can be moved - hobby bead conversion)
Usual "adjustments to deck", including Feifel filters corrections and tubes
Upgraded Gearboxes
Asiatam Hull

Of course, it is not finished. This is not a hobby, it is an obsession......

Nice work Beavis, looks like it's been to hell and back... or Stalingrad and back, whichever's worse.

Looks like it'd be freezing cold outside by looking at your Tiger. Really nice job!
