I think he means what vendor's call closed pins. That means you can only see the pin cap, the rest of it its inside of the track link.

That kind of tracks are way better than the open pins ones like the ones you bought... So for the next time look for a closed pins ones.

You can always use this ones as an extra armor plates. Yeah, I now thats an expensive extra armor, but it happens...
