RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Hi I am a new member of the forum, my name is Martin, live in Poland. Model railroading has been involved in a very wilu years, mainly build model airplanes. Three years ago, I started the construction of my first model of the tank. I decided it would be a model scale RC 1/16 Sherman Firefly IC used by the Poles during the war (Sting). I not yet finished this model, but I hope that fusing it this year. The relationship with model building is located on our forum Polish modeling a tank. I second the welcome, Martin! I too have looked at your forum and, what strikes me, is that model makers share a lot in common, irrespective of borders and language. Even the fruits of our labours look the same . Great work there; very impressive

As I mentioned this is my first model of the tank, but not the first model in general, I built a lot of airplanes. I was even a few times with them SMW Telford. Modelling is my hobby for over 30 years. I used to be a soldier of an elite unit of Polish special forces. Now, professionally I am dealing with the design and construction of parts and various machines for the industry. With this second profession I draw many experiences which are useful in the construction of the model Sherman. I designed in AutoCAD all the mechanisms to model two-speed gearbox, the mechanisms of the tower, module smoking and a mechanism for lifting and lowering the figures driver.
