Hi Sparten tracks,
I'm guessing you've found out your answers as post is a month ago, but heres my 2p worth.
I think the main difference was on the turret, although the G used the same turret as the A, (same drawing numbers etc), the late G had the extended chin on the mantle - this helped prevent AP shells ricocheting downwards into thin surface of hull. In Nov '44 a cleaner for gun sight was addd and in Dec '44 a crew heater. Small hoops were ended to the turrets too for use of camouflage -March '45(?). Paint inside turret went back to ivory too('Feb '45), obviously to win a war it's in the details! Jan '45, half mounting bolts on engine deck deleted too. 18 closure plugs per panther in total. Jan'45 saw an end to commanders couple AA ring. late '44 larger self cleaning idler wheel and Oct'44 no rear factory fitted shock absorber. Curved hoods on the exhaust hoods(Flammevernichter)added too. These were retro fitted to all Panthers that had the Flammevernichter, fitted. Late G's I'm guessing just had a rolling list of modifications. Internal mods to, drivers seat etc. I'm sure someone can give you more of a definitive answer.

Hi Andy, I backdated a Tamiya late g to and early, full build:

Things I missed were the bulge at the front of the cupola and another fitting both for the vampire ir system.
