Just bought these 1/16 models today at a local show. They are not RC yet but can be upgraded. Does anybody have any experience of building these or any tips please.

I'm trying to do much the same, you can follow along with my build thread so you can at least avoid making the same mistakes I will!Pebs434 wrote://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016030 ... 0d0fbc.jpg

Yeah, the level of detail and the texturing on the parts is great, but some parts are paper-thin and wouldn't hold up to any outdoor abuse. I've been reinforcing the kit parts with styrene plates to try and keep the appearance without sacrificing structural integrity.jackalope wrote:Just finishing up my Hobby Boss/Taigen Tiger hybrid and yes the Hobby Boss can be made R/C all by itself but I wouldn't run it TOO hard as it is just a model kit. It's a very nice kit BTW you should enjoy it.
Nice work, ausf. Very inspiring! I'm doing the obr. 1942 version at the moment, but using the Taigen T-34/85 metal lower hull as a starting point. I might need to pick your brains or steal some ideas at some point.ausf wrote:This is one I did with the Trumpeter '76 kit, using all the guttywuts from a Tamiya Sherman and a set of WSN tracks.
