I was recently re-watching the Band of Brothers box-set (best WWII series by far), and I was wondering, what tanks were part of the German counter-attack at Carentan?
Which divisions were involved? I'd love to recreate one of the Tigers that attacked Easy Company.

as far as I remeber the town was held by the 6th falschimjager, they withdrew southafter some fighting.
The 17th SS panzer Grenadier regt was was building up with 2 other german divisons which attacked on the 13th of June and drove the paras back to about 500 yards from Carentan when Artillery and American armour were rushed to aid the defence. I'll try to find out which divisions the other two were that joined the 17th SS panzer grenadiers.

The Americans didn't fight against Tiger in Normandy (not until Falaise) these where in the Cane sector where the heaviest fighting took place
