Hi Guys
Logging in to say hello. Old guy with a "World of tanks" addiction just been bought a Heng Long Sherman for my birthday!
Hoping to join with son in law (who has 3 already) and find a local club over the coming year... along with converting the m4a3 to a British desert camo firefly....
Looking forward to forum talk

(now the guilty bit)
Tank now displaying HL tendencies within 1/2 hour of carpet manoeuvres :-(
starts up and pairs ok: lights/machine gun/engine /canon fire noise all work. turret turns, but as soon as any drive to tracks applied the tank quickly stops and lights flash (pairing problem?)
Have made sure all batteries fully charged up. and following the start up steps etc..
Don't want to upset the family as was a costly purchase of them with (metal tracks and all) or invalidate the warranty by lifting the hull prematurely....

Is there anything I'm doing wrong

Mine does that when main battery is flat, or fibres get wrapped around the drivewheels. The carpets we use at GLAD have a few loose threads which the T34 is very good at picking up.

it sounds like a wiring issue. open the tank unplug all the leads from the board except the leads for right and left motor and see if it works. it could be that its just a bad conection somewhere.

They should tell you that right on the box, eh? Not too many tanks don't eventually get opened up for one reason or another.
