1/16 rc FO Cheetah PRTL -Holland version

Hello all here are pics of my holland version of the tamiya gepard called cheetah prtl
I bought i from rene L unfinished , the mainbuild was done but a lot of details etc and the rc need to build into , i think i gonna start with a sgs module for the gepard
Have to study this carrefully thevturret needs to go round in 4 seconds according the real ones
As you see rc is a bit blury , for now first adding more details

The colors are to much faded away , i was on visit at munster this year and all the bundeswehr vehicles a bright 3 tone camo mostly ... but love my cheetah ... no hurry
Originaly itvwas a 70's gepard stored on cellar until rene converted it into a cheetah , its a clean forwarded build
Busy on the fenders stepups , cutted them out etc pics come later

I've not seen this opening on gepards ... maybe overlooked
Does anyone know the function of it ?

The oerlikon gun real scale
The Cheetah is the Dutch version of the Gepard. Originally it was called the CA1 but the nickname Cheetah painted on the first operational CA1 stuck. It differs in radar suite and other minor details. The Dutch version has a more capable and expensive radar suite. It can be identified by its bar type search radar and more pointed tracking radar. Most Cheetahs were upgraded with the ability to fire FAPDS-T rounds.
