When "TRUMPETER" came out with the static Panzer 4 I gave some thought to attempting the conversion but decided it was to much for my limited abilities.
So I shall watch your build very closely GUIDO and if I think it is a goer that could be my next build complete with (as displayed on the box lid) an "ARMOURED MG 34"
shaun.

Had a quick Google. The basic gearbox sells for 219 Euros, $240 US or £167.

Guido, your work is always so magnificent that I did not think I would ever be able to contribute anything to it. However, when Tamiya made their Pz IV kit, they made an error in the rear idler wheel. On the earlier (welder tube) type of idler, the spokes of the idler aligned with each other. But on the later (cast) type of idler, the spokes are offset from one another. This is difficult to fix, because Tamiya has molded in the locating lugs, and the idler is metal. I don't know if the Trumpeter kit got it correct or not. -Mike

Hello,
the support rollers are mounted, i have used the parts from the Tamiya kit.
The tracks from impact are also mounted and they are running very well.
I am very pleased with the lower hull, here's the report must become to an end, because the lower hull is going to a friend.
the last foto will show how i open the impact tracks
regards,Guido
