I just visited their site, and see that they are going out of business. Disappointed as Gene was always a great help. There are not to many resources here in the states.

That's a complete Bum-Out...I am in the process of moving to southern Colorado and was thinking about driving down there to see the store one day soon.

Sorry to hear you will be heading out of the area. We need to get down to the FRAG shooting grounds before you take off. How far south?

Doing an early retire while house prices are high and in demand here. I'll be down in Gardener, CO. So only three hours away. I plan on using part of the new property to build a little Tank Village like people do. I'll have a spare place there as well, set up as guest housing if you ever want to visit and run your tanks. I agree about FRAG. I also will be back up this way once a month at least to visit friends and check out life in the 'Big City' ;o)

Congrats on the move. You are right, good time to cash out here and go someplace where the market isn't so hot. Best of luck on the transition.

I noticed that he was closing yesterday, indeed a bummer Gene is a good guy. I got my first tank from him.

A guy I know ordered a T-34 from Gene about a month ago and Gene told him then he was closing. I'd have posted it, but I thought it was common knowledge. It's been discussed at RCU, but I figured since the majority of members here are in the UK it wouldn't have as big an impact as it will on us Yanks. I'll miss Gene very much. He was great at getting hard to find stuff, like decals and parts, and you could call him any time and he'd always try to help. He'll be sorely missed.
