I am giving serious thought to finally getting my Heng Long Abrams out of its box and starting a build now that your hints, tips and builds are coming to the end.
As quality engineering backed up by solid research goes this tour de force beats just about anything.
Thank you Barry.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I'm thinking the opposite. I realize mine will never be as good as Barry's so I want to buy one of those all metal Tusk 1 tanks and just leave it as it and beat the hell out of it... :)

Sounds like a solid plan. I would really like to see the all metal Abrams.

So I been lurking but have not gotten any modeling done.

I have been busy...

My Grandson graduated from the University of Clemson as a 2nd Lt. in the South Carolina National Guard. He will be attending flight school in Nov. to become a AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopter Pilot.

His mother and grandmother pinning his bars.

I was honored by him to render his first enlisted man's salute.

Two weeks later my Granddaughter graduated form High School and will attend Georgia Southern University's School of Nursing.

Very Proud Grandad! :D

Must me immensely proud Mr C, and thanks for sharing such a personal insight into what goes on in real life.

Congrats!...Would've thought you were an Army guy with the attention to detail on this tank, but I see Zoomie rank there on your arm... :)

Herman,

I truly am! He will have to master the gunship before he will be allowed to fly our intergalactic "things"! :haha:

Nope "Zoomie" all the way! Phantoms, Specter, BUFFs, Tankers, SLUFs and Eagles and assorted other support type aircraft.
I have dabbled all over the modeling genre. But when I ran into the Larger Scale RC Tanks everything went into a loooong holding pattern!
