Has any one tried putting an hl jagdpanther upper hull on a tamiya panther lower hull i was thinking of doing this as i have a tamiya panther and would love a jagdpanther but can’t afford a tamiya one?

Hi Paul cant see you having any problems the scratch builds that you have built.If the Jagdpather top fits the Tamiya will the tamiya panther top fit the Heng long to make a panther .Now that would be good.

or septon if you cant afford the the tamiya jagdpanther why dont you just buy the HL one and keep the two individual models instead of only baing able to use 1 at a time ?

not a bad idea matt but the tamiya lower hull is more acurate than the hl eg the bottom glacis plate on the hl is the wrong angle besides i like the jagdpanther more than the panther g

pete's right though, you could put the panther top hull back ont he hl lower hull, and still have yourself 2 tanks

with a bit tweaking it,ll fit, but you might be best off fitting the H/L rear hull plate as well, i,ll get the guys to bring their H/L and tamiya jagdpanthers to the club on Thursday and fit it all together and take some pics if you like" then you can see it for yourself .......cheers tony.

Fitting the HL Jagdpanther hull top on a Tamiya chassis is what I have in mind too Paul. I'll bring my Tammy Panther to the Washington club this Thursday Tony. It will be interesting to see if it fits.
