Note from my cousin about brushes:
I use Windsor & Newton University Series 223 and Series 7 brushes in 00 and 000 for most of my brush work but most of the intricate work is done with some "no name" 000 spotter Sable brush I think I bought at the Michael's chain arts and crafts for around $5.00. Some of the base coating and preliminary shading of the helmets, parka, snow pants and boots was done with my old, worn out Badger 100G airbrush using an inexpensive Central Pneumatic compressor I bought at Harbor Freight. I usually spray at around 25 psi.

Almost all paints are Vallejo Model color thinned with distilled water except for Humbrol enamel brass for the ammo and Testor's generic enamel gold for the wedding ring. I prefer Testor's generic metallic enamels since they are very smooth without the grainy texture found in many of Humbrol 's and Vallejo's metallic colors.
