Best way I've found is to make a housing for the LED out of brass tube...you can use what you like...You don't really want to use any fast setting glues..the vapor can cloud the optic...what you want to do is just suspend the optic in the tube and use a white glue or silicon to secure it....cutting fiber optic is the real trick...if done incorrectly the light will not shine all the way through it's recommended that you heat the end using a soldering iron....no...you do not touch the end to the iron...but just hold it close enough to where it starts to shine let it cool and you should be good to go

It's good stuff to work with....can get a tad gnarly if you run too many strands...but the effect is worth it...just think of it...with one bulb...you could light your entire tank ;) ... :haha:

That's a good way to deal with it...careful drilling out the gun barrel ;) ...think you will end up with fine results :D
