ST, that looks very good. Great job on the skirts. What are you gonna do with the extra track links? They make a metal piece for that so i tried one along with some metal track links and I really like the way it turned out. If you need them I'll dig out the photos but here's a link to the bar.

You might have to select your country and then come back and hit the link again. The mato site can be a little funny sometimes. I suppose you could just go to the site and enter MT073-U in the search box and that will probably get ya there. Hell, you probably already know all about it and have two or three in a drawer somewhere!

Hey Andy, are you using the stock spare track links? They should look a lot better once you paint them, but I think you should consider using a section of actual track. Either plastic or metal will be a big improvement over the one piece molded links that come stock, and I think you'll really like the effect if you give it a try. You obviously have the skills to do the mod and it's not hard at all.

Hey Andy, if you don't mind my asking, who is building your Hellcat? Are you having it done or doing it yourself? I'm looking forward to seeing that one.

Ahhh, sounds like the Poppa of Fyn.
For this tank I used metal links (12 of them) and made my own bar to hold them in. I can just slip them out whenever I want and they really stay in place. I've never had them come out from normal driving. I think you can tell the difference better in person, but even in the photos you can see the detail on these. I'm about to do a Stug III and I plan to replace all the ;plastic links with metal, and that tank has a lot of spare track on it.

Some nice Armor you got there Spartan...did you see how Herman solved the problems with the lights? ...He used ping pong balls to make covers and sanded the LEDs flat ...very cool idea..and would add that little bit of signature German touch to your already impressive collection
