Hey Thanks guys, and it was cool that we had a few 3 of the SCAT guys show up, and 2 out of my 5 members showed as well!

It was insteresting to see how some of the inner city kids took to the game, surpisingly they seemed interested, maybe sitting behind the TV playing the video game still cannot give you the true 3 D feel of the good ol outdoors!

I agree m8, if kids got out a bit more and did things like this instead of vegging on consoles they would learn a heap of skills, modelling, painting, building, researching, electronics, soldering, then the joys of keeping the thing running and fixing problems, what do you get from a console?
It doesn't surprise me that alot of kids, (not all granted), would not even be able to do a decent job of putting a standard model kit together, consoles are fun but other ingenuative hobbies are needed for skill building.

Hopefully some of the kids that came to your meeting will come again and start learning the real pleasures of model tanking by getting one of their own and messing around with it :D
