Heres some shots of my panther d type build so far

Work has been slow but its slowly getting there, using a panther g hull and deck, a pantiger turret all being modified to resemble an D type panther ala kursk time frame, deck has been heavily cut n shut to fit pantiger turret, fans shaved off and earlier flat ones fitted , turret heavily modded to D type look, modded tiger 1 cupola fitted , various vents shaved off on top of turret, new pistol ports added and small escape hatch, smoke dispensers fitted, on deck headlight shaved off and correct twin ones fitted, mg blister shaved n filled and view port added to front, and also drivers one as well, other hatches shaved off and new ones fabricated and deck lines shaved and new added, hatch lifting hooks added to rear engine hatches etc. old exhaust stacks removed new ones fitted holding brackets made , holes filled in where needed , used the spare tracks and tubes from pantiger and tool box barbed wire reel , side slope filed in with car bondo to give correct appearance, lids to rear bins made and added. still loads to do. need to add a g type barrel to turret need to find one, tracks needed as well and a spare deck needed to take from tool racks etc and travel lock for front deck. side armour track protection plates to be made

Good afternoon,
This is great work on a difficult hybrid build using a PanTiger. Do you plan on using a Tamiya or Taigen barrel to add the correct length? Following along.

Thanks painless i will probably use a heng long panther g barrel as more easily found like i did in my panther a build. the pantigers a nice turret but barrel is horribly toy like and out of scale.
