Asiatam/Taigen recoil unit problem.

Hi all,
Got my new Taigen Panther F yesterday and has been working on converting it to Clark board. I thought it was going to be an easy swap but it was nothing but. I guess with the stock 360 wiring, Taigen has embedded a patch board in the turret to consolidate all the wiring to the 360 slip ring. Unfortunately the patch board is not a straight pass thru (i.e. They combined the wiring for the turret elevation and recoil with the same pos before go thru to the slip ring). So if you want to separate the elevation motors feeds from the recoil feed, you will need to by-pass this patch board:
I was going to give it a go of re-wiring it but in the process of pulling the plug out half of the wires actually came out of the plug/clamp ! Not being a big fan of 360s anyway, I decided to save myself some work and just hook it up like a "normal tank" rather than using this custom patch board and the 360 wiring. Anyway, after I done that I hook up the Asiatam/Taigen recoil and got this:
Basically there is a delay on the recoil, and it won't return to pre-recoil position unless I give it a little push. Its almost like the signal is not there on-time, and the power feed is not long enough to get the motor to go back to the starting position.
I wired this according to the Clark website, and it has no mention of the negative power feed from the battery/switch like all other installation of this recoil. Could this be my problem ? Although I swear that I have install this recoil according to Clark without the power negative and everything work fine.
Puzzled.
