Keeping recoil barrel steady

I recently did the recoil mod for my HL M1. As a result, the barrel is wobbly when the tank moves around. Any ideas for a simple fix?

What do you mean when you say wobbly? Up down/ left right? Got any pictures?

A sleeve in the mantlet and one on the barrel that "just" fits helps...but it would have to be long for it to be truly stable ;)

What I found to work was some foam pushed around the joint on my KT tightened it up enough to stop the over wobble but still allowed elevation etc. It's easy to play with to see how much works..keep it hidden or pull out and try again :)

Thanks guys. The foam idea looks sound. I think I'lll have to extend the gun barrel as well to make the foam solution work.

An EXTREME solution would be to prop an unused Pika figure under the assembly or even a Ketchup bottle :haha: :haha: :haha:
