I will guess that as the king tiger is a later production model they have made improvements to all aspects of the hardware. I have one of the first HL Henshel Turreted kings & it was superior in many ways to the others.

Airsoft units are a hit and miss affair. Most of them ain't that great, but every once in a while all the planets come into alignment and they turn out a unit that performs exceptionally well and you got lucky enough to get that tank. I have a PzIV like that, it's just a beast compared to all my other tanks. They shoot OK, but the PIV will puncture a cardboard box, and for plastic airsoft BBs that's pretty good. You should see it when I load the sabot rounds and go after balloons. In fact, you can see that now. As time goes on you'll find that airsoft units can be very frustrating and they do NOT last forever. I already have to replace the unit in my brand new airsoft recoil turret.

Vow, you've got a pretty powerful airsoft on the PzIV. Did you sell off the front wheel of that APC?

Finally got the LAV fixed, but it's since had other issues. Just a toy, really. Videos of that are at my youtube channel.

The tiger 2 takes a good second to two seconds longer to fire than my tiger 1 and sounds much louder as it hits my fence panels in my garden. Could this be winding the spring up more ? I enjoy shooting at Mrs legs as she hangs the washing out but wouldn't do it with the tiger2 that thing hurts through jeans.

You may have a stronger spring in the KT. Some guys take the unit apart and either install a stronger spring or stretch out the one that's in there and they say it makes a big difference.

Hopefully I may be lucky. The tiger two was from the same shop that the tiger 1 was ..
