Paint question

So I am trying to teach myself to airbrush. It's holding my build back as I
Don't want to begin any fine detail till I get the camo on.
I am doing bovington 131
I have 2 greens
Vallejo cam olive green and
Mig graugrun the Vallejo is darker and
The mig closer to photos of the real thing. But it's a bugger to spray and so light it's hardly visible
Advice please. Which to continue with?
I was thinking I could do a fine mist to bring down the Vallejo darkness or just hand paint with the mig?
Anyway pics. Be kind I have never airbrushed a model before 8O

Hey there Mark....Just one question....have you tried shooting the light green over the dark?....right now what is happening is the base coat of yellow is making the light green fade ;)

That is a great idea , so much to learn. Will have a go
Still getting the hang of the airbrush. Between air pressure and paint mix I can create quite a mess :haha:

The Mig colour is meant to be sprayed on in layers. Did you get the Mig thinner as well?

I have tamiya acrylic thinner and mig enamel thinner
Also some Vallejo airbrush thinner!! Oh and mr colour thinner , I just read that works well with mig ammo acrylics.
So much to learn. It's fun but frustrating!

It is green, but it's so close to the brown that they almost merge together in a B/W photo.
