jadgpanther . steel wheels ??

hi all
just reaading thru a book from poland with the help of a good mate form work yes he is polish)
.... a small bit of text wich a crap pic seem to show a very late model jadgpanther
with the two part gun barrel and the big exhausts funnels
but you can just make out steel wheels like the late panther ....
any know anything more ? looks quite different ...
. almost looks like a jagdtiget with sloped fornt armour ...

the pic is in a book and i dont have a scanner ....
the book is by trojca .... in polish ... full of pics and fab 1/35 drawings ..... its sometims on evilbay but its £65 + and just one pic that is 1 inch by about 3/4 of an inch very grany .... but you can see its different ... the jadgpanter was killed just on the edge of berlin in the last few day of the war ..cant see a camo pattern .. but may just be redbrown all over may even be just green ?

never seen a picture of a Jagdpanther with steel wheels but by that stage of the war and around Berlin this wouldn't surprise me as the steel wheels where to become a standard part used on things like Panther F, Tiger II, Panther II, E50 and so on

Its probably safe to assume that in those final dark days pretty much
anything that was serviceable was bolted to a tank and sent to the front...
It would be nice to see the pic for our further education tho

i am trying hard to find out more about the steel wheeled jp ... and i see that tankzone offer a conversion set ! .... cool .. except the price ...
it happens that tomorow i am off to the tank museum for my monthy visit to the libary .. and i will ask the question about the jp ... and see if thay have info or pics would be better ..
