I cannot speak for other armies but this particular modification is still available to be fitted on pre-adapted British Army trucks.

A scaled down version would make an ideal toilet roll dispenser, for a fanatical tank collector...'Hobart's Fannies' (U.S. meaning..), the de-luxe big butt model !
