hi I have just acquired a hl panzer III does anyone know how to take the aerial base out of the rear deck without damaging the deck.I've tried twisting & pulling but the plastic around the base seems very thin.

Take a pair of needle nose pliers and hold onto the antenna mount and then take a soldering iron and put it against the top. After a minute it heat up and let you pull it straight out. Fill with putty and sand smooth and you will never be able to tell it was there...

Hi, If you are planning to fit a proper AERIAL, If you don't already have one then I would suggest you go to -
http://www.rctank.de
click on accessories, then Panzer 111 and scroll down.
Euro 11.90
It is also good for the Panzer 4,
Hope that helps, Shaun.
