So has anybody heard from these guys lately. I spent a few hours last night on Google trying to find one of their M-60's and a current price. I know the suspension is not accurate and the electronics suck, but I have been jonesing for a damn M-60 for ages and I don't see one being produced anytime soon and this one would get me well on my way. Did they go tits up? I sent an email direct but no response. The website states "BIG SALE" but no price. Anybody have the inside scoop?

I thought he had their stuff on the DKLM site but I couldn't see any. Speaking to Carson is probably a good bet.

That is odd as according to his site, the latest listing of in-stock items was listed as May 2015....You can also still order tracks and other small items direct from the website...?

Probably has stock to shift, anyone who has a Chunwai will still need spares. Looking at the Chunwai site, some of the tanks are not available, so my guess is that if DKLM is correct they are selling off their remaining stocks too.

Well, I received a response from Carson from DKLM and he relayed that Chunwai will only sell to those who order a minimum of 10 units which is why Carson no longer carries their product. Understandably as that is quite an investment and a money hole if they are slow sellers. O' well...hopefully somebody will build a damn M-60 at some point, it was only our MBT for several decades...grumble grumble

It's common practice amongst manufacturers, as they only want to supply large orders to distributors. Tamiya have a minimum order threshold of £5000 per order, and they will only supply to authorised dealers. I guess its down to packing and shipping costs, they don't want to send out one or two items when they can shift ten or twenty to one location? The problem for someone who actually wants to buy is finding a retailer who has stock, and who is going to buy ten Chunwai tanks when they know that it will take them them a long while to move the stock in a niche market?
