Hi there, i just bought a pair of HL's blue g/box installed them and found some problems which i do not have a clue...
It is like this when i started the engine
Old gearbox(original gearbox) + rough right stick movement(abrupt moving up, down, left, right) = No engine shutdown
New HL gearbox + rough right stick movement(abrupt moving up, down, left, right) = Engine shutdown(quench engine off)
Can some body help, can't drive my tank like this man...
Thanks!

Can't see the vids. How are your batteries? Fully charged? Can you remove the blue motors and check if the gears and driveshaft can move freely? Have you tried operating the motors out of the gearbox?

The videos would help a lot....I run stock HL gearboxes with the brass bushings..they run fine ....I'm probably one of the only one that still uses the stock RXs as well...have no need for fancy stuff at the moment....but from your description it's really difficult to troubleshoot your problem...maybe links to the videos themselves would be better

Just an added note....the problem could be anything...might not even be in the gearbox....could be a stuck Idler binding tracks etc....All tanks suffer problems similar to yours...buying and bolting things in doesn't mean it will run perfectly....reason I always tweek them from stock ...then decide whether or not it "needs" an upgrade...in most cases I just change the battery

SUPER DUPER NG

...one with the chassis jacked off the surface would be good...and one on the ground..preferably with the body off
Just one little inquiry....when you installed the gearboxes...did you try slow maneuvers right off the bat?...I ask because what I found that loosens up any binding or tightness is running the chassis back and forth at full speed for about 15 mins or until the stock battery gets weak...If there are any flaws after that...then I look for the problem...in the case of my M1...found one Idler on one side didn't have it's bushing pressed in correctly...and it was cause one side to drag...causing the track to come off on one side in reverse....fixed the bushing....tested it again in the same manner...and it ran perfect
