First tank of a newbie here. Figured I'd make a record somewhere and this would be the best place to put it!

Nothing fancy yet. A little bit of weathering was done using a Tamiya Weathering Master drybrush kit I picked up for cheap, and it seems worth it for a noobie! On the inside, I put in two 40mm cooling fans stuck right on the rear vent, pushing air in - thank goodness the Leo has a functioning vent at the rear! The board was relocated to the rear in between the motors with insulation between them. Motors were replaced with a pair of Mabuchi RS380SH units. Turret rotation motor was replaced with a Tamiya Atomic Tuned motor. I'm looking next at fixing up the sound using sound cards, but first I'll have to sort out my airsoft unit; just turning it on makes it shoot like a really really mad autocannon. :haha:

Thanks for looking!

Updates to the insides hehe.

Everything moved to the rear, with the board cooling box in view:

The box without the board. The fan pulls air through the board, and I made four slit vents to get air where it needs to go through:

Ghetto smoker experiment. Not working yet though, I think the wire wrapped around the wick got cut somewhere. Thinking about replacing it with one of those nichrome things from a blowdryer:

Yay painted metal idlers and sprockets!
