True story. Just been chatting to a friend in the trade. One of his customers had built a 1/4 scale 2000kg King Tiger. He was playing with it in the garden, when without warning it decides to start and run of its own accord. He desperately tried controlling it from the tx but it carried on regardless, and simply drove across the garden, and mowed down his garden fence. It then carried on across his neighbours garden and demolished his fence as well.
He only managed to stop it before it wiped out the entire street by jumping on top of it, opening a hatch and disconnecting the battery.
I think I will stick to Heng Long, it seems like the safer option...

I'm with you, Wibb. 1/6 is as big as I ever want to get, and just one of those will suffice. Ahhh, someday.
Til then I'll stick to 1/16. At least with those if something goes wrong I can just pick it up!

No idea if that was the true weight, just what I was told, I do know it cost him £7000, and he doesn't even have all of the extras??

Found a site that builds large scale tanks to order. 1/4 scale Tiger 63" x 36" body, overall length, including gun 7 feet. Full option weight 230kg. Could be an extra 0 sneaked in somewhere. Price on application, but they do a 1/6 scale starting at £3100.

The King Tiger suddenly was possessed with an overriding purpose of blitzkrieg.
