crying out for a club

Hi.
A few days ago a friend emailed me saying that he had heard of a meeting at budmouth tech college, Weymouth dorset
but had no details.
Is there anyone out there who has any knowledge of this
Then I would be very interested.
the Weymouth area is crying out for a tank style club of some sort.
Plenty of peeps in the area with tanks, but no one seriously wanting to start a regular get together
that's why so many start up then sell off everything, myself being one of them
Any news would be welcome.
Cheers and tanks.
John Wadsworth.

Hi Guys.
Thanks for the info, sadly my facebook account is messed up and I keep on surfacing as someone from Finland or Denmark.
And I cannot get it set right, yet.
If anyone can tell me the date of next meeting then they will gain another member. :S
Thanks again for the info.
Cheers John W.

If it's any help, we meet at Templecombe, which is halfway between Bristol and Weymouth, and our door is open to anyone who is looking for somewhere to play with their tanks once a month. We have a scout hut, and we have an outdoor battlefield that we will make use of next year when the weather warms up.

More info here

last meet of the year Sunday.

Hi Wibbly.
Thanks for the info, temple combe is only24 miles from me, so even on a scooter is reachable, if it is not blowing a hoolie,
I have the web site and will look into joining the club.
Still looking for the budmouth club though.
cheers John W.

If you can make it it would great to see you, having somewhere to run tanks makes a world of difference to owning one.

We get there at 10am, usually on time, set up the battlefield and spend the rest of the day, chatting, running tanks, battling, and drinking coffee/eating. Bring a sense of humour, you will need it. :P

Posting this here as well just in case anyone misses the other post.

Bristol Armoured Division
URGENT UPDATE

Due to last minute re-organisation by the scout group we will have to postpone the meet to the 29th November. It is totally out of our control, and a bit of nuisance but there is nothing that we can do about it.

Many apologies to anyone who had made plans to attend.

Regards

Rob
