Starting my builds, now that the snow has begun to fly in Colorado.
Am the very younger brother of Sassgrunt. So young in fact that I used to call him dad when I was younger. Had the opportunity to meet PainlessWolf last year and see his fantastic tanks in person. Just starting out on a HL Sherman. Have a HL Panzer III (chassis in Hawaii right now) in the works. And finally have a Tamiya Tiger that my much older brother provided for my 16 year old daughter to build along when I work on the others.
I have been in awe looking at the talent here on this forum! Been reading and watching for most of a year.
Thanks, Eric

Welcome along Mr "E-Grunt Jr"

I have no doubt you will emulate ney exceed your siblings efforts,
Sure we would all like to see both yours and your lassie's tank build progress, it's good to see the hobby spread past late Middle aged men with pent up artistic tendencies !!
Here's to y'all

Welcome aboard, Eric. It's great to see young blood comin' up in the world. You have some good guys there in Colorado, like Greg (Pah co chu puk on RCU) and some great scenery for photos of the tanks. It sounds like you've already got a hell of a tank support group but if you need any help I'm just a USPS box away if you need parts or anything. I just ordered parts for my own Sherman and I also have a PzIV in the line to be detailed. I'll be looking forward to seeing your work.

Eric,
It is really good to hear from you again! ;o) I wondered how you were getting on with the Tamiya Tiger 1. Welcome to the forum and a great bunch of guys! You know I am local so please PM me for anything that I can help with on your new Sherman. I still have parts left over from 'Maxene' and 'In The Mood'. I'm hoping to see Mike again here soon and pass along some tracks and a mantlet for his ongoing large scale stuff along with other things. ;o) Pictures of your Sherman when you get some so we can follow along and kick the virtual road wheels.
regards,
Painless

In my own defense, I want to let all of you know that I am only TEN years older than Eric. He makes its sound like he should have been calling me Grandpa.
I was really happy to see him involving his daughter in the hobby - something I was never able to accomplish with my own kids. We DO need younger folks to have a hand in this game - otherwise it'll all die off with us. Welcome aboard Eric.
