Yes, forum eyes are very much drawn to the Challenger 2 on Ebay, it seems. It's bizarre though, that nowhere on any Heng Long website (henglongtoys.net etc., and other variants) could I find a mention of the Challenger. They list the new Abrams, a new Sherman, even a new refined 2.4ghz tx..but nowhere is there a reference to the Challenger...unless it's adopted the ultimate camouflage: invisibility. No doubt it exists, but Heng Long don't seem to think so. Did they make a trial batch only, and then toss the idea, I wonder?
All very inscrutable. All very disappointing. Maybe the Poles will find a stash of them in that legendary railway tunnel, along with all that mythical 'nazi gold'..Who knows.

Yep getting just a little worried now been waiting sooooooo long for this.I thought by now we would see a few more outlets advertising them!!!!!. Perhaps they will release another Chinese tank!?!?!?!?. Brian...

I know there is all kinds of videos and pictures from Singapore, and even Eric at Imex I think has a video of the pre-production, but my re-seller here tells me that it is NOT on his Christmas order list so don't get your hopes up high on the morning of the 25th..........

Bought another tank off the Haya UK ltd's ebay store and it was delivered the next day (they used a trackable carrier so I could see exactly where my tank was) . So I'll be getting up early on the 19th, checking my email every 5 minutes for my tracking number.

Yep it looks like they might be holding it back to create more demand. At least that's the way I see it. Brian...

I have a lot of parts and tanks off Andrew at Haya Ltd
who has several eBay accounts ...I have never had any problems and always get what I ordered with 48 hours and always track able

I also see there are two chaps on Facebook in well respected pages that have the chalky 2 one in Singapore and a founder member of the sinapore rc tank club ..and also Carson of dklm ..
both tanks were supplied by Andrew ..of Haya Ltd ..who also has a wear house in China
and asures me the chally 2 are on the way and should land in his uk wearhouse on the 18th Nov ..but that really depends on customs ,.24 nov is possible ..I will be driving over to collect my little stack of chally 2s as soo as that hit his UK wear house

He has only 150 on order .HL have only made 400 in this batch ...at the momen I do not know where the other 200 have gone ..but I believe 200 have gone to a US / canada retailer ..

There are no metal hop ups from chally 2 at the moment ...but theHL m1a2 metal tracks seem to fit onto the chally 2 sprocket ...acording to Carson ...

Apparently you British lads are getting the only production batch. All the others are scraps and pieces. Hopefully we will get it next year. Not going to pay an arm and a leg just to get it before Christmas. Looking to do a bulk buy for our local tank club when it becomes widely available to save a few bucks.

For the serious lack of British armour in 1/16 scale for the Brits, I think this is only deserving....... Enjoy !
