Hello, I'm new here and new to tanks but not new to RC stuff. I grew up doing RC model boats with my father, scale and racing boats although I preferred scale. I did RC cars for many years, on road and off road, cars, monster truck and buggies. I've played around with aircraft but kept crashing them and electric helicopters too but each flight cost me loads when I crashed.
I've recently gotten into tanks after my friend ( who's also done RC for years with me ) and his son got a couple of Heng long tanks and got me interested in them, I seem to be hooked now. They don't fall out of the sky and smash to bits, they don't go fast so require the best cells and ESC, the don't have to hand like a race car, and the shouldn't sink like a boat.
I brought a new Heng long T34 which is fantastic, and have since acquired a Heng long Tiger I, and have really enjoyed tinkering about with them over the last few months. I'll put some pics up in the show off section soon.
I've been lurking here for months learning about all aspects of RC tanks and have loads to learn still, hopefully I'll be able to add something to the forum in time.
