Two pictures, I took this summer, of what has to be the ultimate king tiger kit build; the Koeingstiger restoration project at the Swiss Military Museum, Full, Schweiz. Note how they've hacked off all the zimmerit in order to re-prime it.
Tank 341 is something of a mystery. It was abandoned in France (Ardennes) in late 1944, and since then, nobody has been able to trace its unit history, even though the chassis number is known. Anyone interested in a scratch build, should have a look at this one. You can also donate to the project.
