Anybody have a best method for removing or moving those motor pinion/gears? I recall heating and having quite a time on a few :) and always worry I am going to hurt something using too much force.

You need a pinion removal tool. Something like this that used to come with the Walterson gearbox or google search pinion removal tool.

Great one Max! I have just such a tool lying around! My dad was a tool and die maker so lots of various tools here.

Good quote from the movie..he was actually quoting George Bernard Shaw (just saw the movie again recently:)

George C. Scott quoting George S. Patton quoting George Bernard Shaw. Now that's very, very cool. I never knew the Shaw part. Good info.

Max, you need to change your screen name to MacGyver.......... Love it, except if I do the spot light thing with the C clamp, my wife would tell me to get a new lamp......... :-)
