Yes, I've been bitten by the Stug bug and I got one last week. I got the Imex metal version with torsion bar suspension and the lift off top, but being airsoft there were whole new challenges because of the amount of space the airsoft unit requires.

Here's what happened

Max,.
I really enjoyed the IBU in that StuG. Great movement and sound. I hear you on the figures as well. I have recently started using more of the resin and cast metal figures but I completely agree that a great figure can result from the stock HL molds with a little cleanup and a good paint job. I have several of them in my armored vehicles and several more held back for possible future builds. I'm surprised by the MG in the driver's view port. I used that trick to make use of the spare Led in the recent StuG B and scratch built an MP40 muzzle and stuck it in the view port of the resin kit. I figured it was Ok since the early StuGs didn't have a ball mount self defense MG up front. Very interesting that Taigen did that. Following along.

Painless

If you read up a lot on the Stug there is some mention of a coax mounted thru some of both the slab sided mantles and the pigs head cast ones to the left of the main gun.
I mounted an led behind a small hole I drilled in the slab sided mantle of my Stug and it looks good flashing there.

Hi Gary, nice set of video's. Just as a reminder, you won't need the LVA with the IBU2 so that should allow enough room for your viper.
